Mussels, the custodians of Padilla Bay

One of the things I love the most about doing this podcast is the opportunities I have to learn new things. In the past couple weeks I’ve been researching mussels, those tiny little shelled dudes that hang out on piers, rocks, and other places most people would consider rather hostile.

I’ve learned that they are an incredibly important part of our ecosystem, and vital to our oceans. I’ve met some fascinating people, and had the opportunity to discover new places in the Puget Sound, all because of this common little shellfish.

Want to know more? I know I do! Tune into the next AquaCast, and join me as we wade into the world of Mussels!
